Principal's Message
Dear AMS Nellis Students, Families, and Community Members,
It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the proud Founding Principal of AMS Nellis. I am honored to lead this school community and to begin the important work of building a strong foundation for a successful and inspiring first year together.
At the heart of my work as an educator is a deep belief that every student deserves access to an excellent education, high expectations, and the support needed to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe great schools are built through strong relationships with our students and their families, a shared sense of purpose across our community, and a commitment to doing what is best for children each and every day. I am thrilled to begin this journey with the AMS Nellis community and to partner with you in creating a school where students are known, valued, and empowered.
This spring and summer will be fast-paced, purposeful, and full of exciting work as we prepare to welcome students for the 2026–2027 school year. During the months ahead, we will be focused on intentionally setting the school up for success by preparing strong systems, engaging in meaningful professional learning with staff, and building the kind of culture that helps students thrive from the very first day. Every step we take will be centered on ensuring AMS Nellis opens its doors ready to provide a joyful, rigorous, and rewarding educational experience for our students and actively involves our families throughout the journey.
I am truly looking forward to meeting our students, connecting with families, collaborating with staff, and building partnerships throughout the broader community. It is a privilege to serve in this role, and I am excited about all that lies ahead for AMS Nellis.
